Jaime grew up in Upstate New York, but moved to the Pittsburgh area after high school, and finally to St Augustine Florida in 2016. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from California University of Pennsylvania, where she did an independent study on childhood trauma. Following graduation, Jaime worked as a Personal Care Aid in a private school for children with behavioral and emotional struggles. She decided to continue her education and is currently enrolled at Capella University where she will be graduating with her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in December.
Jaime has a passion for helping others and enjoys working with a variety of populations including children, teens, and adults. She takes a person-centered, humanistic approach to counseling to build the rapport that is vital to the counseling relationship. From there, she utilizes an integrative approach to treatment, including solution focused and cognitive behavioral interventions.
